The complexity of Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) systems mirrors that of the jobs of healthcare workers, and crafting technical solutions must be done with an understanding of specific needs. Partnering with a top EHR service provider, I interviewed users to learn about efficiency breakdowns in their patient intake workflow. Using this research, our team solutioned a custom integration with a scanning hardware device that allowed for the secure capture of patient personal information to reduce the time and effort needed for patient intake.

As a rental management company began to scale, it became clear that providing modern technology solutions to enhance their current services was the key to further growth. I partnered with the company to build a modern customer portal from the ground up, providing up-to-date reporting for customers while streamlining communications for the internal team.

I worked with a growing fintech company to build a robust web interface for financial advisors to source, acquire, track, and maintain alternative investment opportunities to service their clients. With guidance from key partners and internal subject-matter experts, we developed a custom workflow to streamline hours of tedious paperwork.

This project focused on developing a sophisticated mobile app for connecting members of a residential community with access to private rooms, shared spaces, special events, building amenities, and customer support. Seven different integrations were needed to support these robust capabilities, including integrations with two access control solutions, Avigilon and Salto KS. These complex hardware integrations allowed platform admins to configure specific security protocols per user group, and provided users access to secure locations by simply touching their phone to the hardware device.
